To stand together united as one strong voice, for those who are unable to sound their voice, the women who are missing or have been murdered. We wish to raise awareness and honour the missing or murdered women in support of their families and friends.
There will be people across Canada every February 14, marching to honour these women.
Logo-A brief explanation of the logo. In the centre there is a butterfly, which signifies young women. Around this young women are people holding hands in a circle. My dad explained it to me this way. The White people come from the North, which is Europe. The Yellow people come from the East, which is China. The Black people come from the South, which is Africa. We see Turtle Island (North America), as land where the Red people come from. The logo is all inclusive to all people who walk on Mother Earth. Yes, that means you.
